As a result of the uproar this causes, it looks as if the Concert Party will be disbanded and the men will be posted to the front line.

Captain Ashwood has problems when a female welfare officer falls madly in love with him.

The men from the Concert Party perform on Forces Radio. Sergeant Major Williams talks to Gunner Parkins' mother.

The men from the Concert Party try to get rid of Sergeant Major Williams by talking him into applying for a commission.

The Brigadier decides that the men from the Concert Party should become part of the British advance, doing their shows in the front line.
