Summary
After his party wins a General Election, Jim Hacker (Paul Eddington) is appointed
to the Cabinet as Minister For Administrative Affairs.
His Private Secetary is Bernard Wooley (Derek Fowlds).
The Civil Servants in his department are headed by Sir Humphrey Appleby
(Nigel Hawthorne).
Every day brings a new round in the battle of wills between the minister
