Summary

When Caroline Wheatley (Diane Weston) wants to hire a housekeeper, the last thing she expects is for a man to apply for the job.

The man in question is Charlie Burrows (Joe McGann). He gets the job and moves in, along with his daughter, Joanna (Kellie Bright).

Caroline lives with her son Tom (William Puttock), while her mother Laura West (Honor Blackman) lives out in the 'granny flat'.

This programme was a remake of the US sitcom, Who's The Boss?. It was distinguished from most other US-to-UK translations in becoming a long-running, successful show in its own right.
