Summary
Eric Sykes and Hattie Jacques play twins living in a small village, at 24 Sepastopol Terrace.
During the first three series, they have constant problems with an interfering busybody of a neighbour, Mr Brown (Richard Wattis). He eventually emigrates to Australia, returning in a later series.
Another regular character is the village policeman, Corky (Derek Guyler).
The programme originally ran for nine series, ending in November 1965. It was revived during the 1970s, when many of the episodes were colour 'remakes' of episodes from the 1960s.
