Summary
Bruce Morton (Richard Wilson) has "risen through the ranks" to become the Managing Director of an investment bank. He's a good manager who is well respected in banking circles.
Nicholas Quinn (Jack Shepherd) has spent most of his working life in the Civil Service. He has now left his Treasury job to become the new Chairman of the bank.
Bruce has a rather low opinion of his new boss. He doesn't think that he's "up to the job".
