Summary

Bill Macgregor (James Bolam) begins a relationship with Faith Greyshott (Lynda Bellingham). He has to cope with her teenage daughter, Hannah (Julia Sawalha) and son Joe (Mark Denham). He also has to deal with his difficult ex-wife, Liza (Belinda Lang).

Bill and Faith have a stormy, on-off relationship which almost leads to marriage on several occasions.

Faith and Hannah later reappear in a sequel, Faith In The Future.

Although Second Thoughts was an ITV sitcom, it was based on the BBC radio series of the same name, reusing the original radio scripts during the first four series.
