Summary
Robin Tripp (Richard O'Sullivan) and his girlfriend Vicky (Tessa Wyatt) buy a bistro in Fulham, London.
Vicky's father, James Nicholls (Tony Britton) disapproves of Robin's relationship with his daughter. In spite of this, he's persuaded to invest in the restaurant.
Robin and Vicky are married at the end of the second series, later becoming the parents of twins.
The restaurant is staffed by Robin, Vicky and one-armed dishwasher Albert Riddle (David Kelly).
The programme was later remade for the US market as Three's A Crowd.
