Summary

Pete (Hugh Dennis) and Sue (Claire Skinner) are two parents struggling to cope with the day-to-day trials of bringing up three youbg children.

Pete works as a history teacher at an inner-city school, while Sue works part-time as a PA.

The three children are eleven-year-old Jake (Tyger Drew-Honey), seven-year-old Ben (Daniel Roche) and five-year-old Karen (Ramona Marquez).

Other characters include Sue's sister Angela (Samantha Bond) and Grandad (David Ryall).

The episodes were only loosely scripted, including a fair amount of improvisation (particularly by the children).

A second series is in production, for transmission later in 2008.
