Summary
Four women share a flat in London, in spite of the fact they have little in common with one another and find it difficult to coexist.
Amanda (Dawn French) does her best to boss everyone else around.
She has some success in doing this with introverted Jennifer (Jennifer Saunders), but not with tarty Candice (Tracey Ullman) or actress-wannabe Shelley (Ruby Wax).
Meanwhile, their dotty old landlady, Lady Carlton (Joan Greenwood), worries about making ends meet and takes her stuffed dog for walks.
