Summary

Mulberry (Karl Howman), the son of the Grim Reaper, is sent down to Earth to escort Miss Farnaby (Geraldine McEwan) into the next world.

Mulberry develops a liking for the cantankerous spinster and arranges for her time on Earth to be extended so that he can make her final days happy ones.

He talks her into giving him a job as her manservant.
