Summary
John Hanley (Nick Hancock), Harry Dunstan (Hugh Dennis) and Mark Prior (Steve Punt) have been friends since childhood, though nowadays they don't have much in common.
John is an English teacher, though not a particularly dedicated or hard-working one. Harry is a young business executive, newly returned from several years working in France. Mark is an unemployed dropout who spends more time in John's flat than he does at home.
Other regular characters include John's neighbour Todd (Ron Donachie), an ex-criminal, and his wife Helen (Harriott Thorpe).
