Summary
George Starling (Richard Briers) and his wife Kate (Prunella Scales) are a couple of young newly-weds learning to cope with the ups and downs of married life.
Kate became pregnant in the third series and gave birth to a baby girl.
At the end of Series 4, the Starlings left England for a new life in Lagos.
For the fifth and final series, the Starlings were back in England again, preparing for the birth of their second child.
