Summary

Lord Rustless (Ronnie Barker) is an elderly peer living in a stately home, Chrome Hall.

In order to meet the running costs of his estate, he has to turn his ancestral home into a hotel.

Various obstacles have to be overcome in order to get make the new hotel a success.

He's assisted by Mildred Bates (Josephine Tewson) and Dithers (David Jason).

The writer was Ronnie Barker, using the pseudonym "Jonathan Cobbold".
