Summary

Roy Figgis (James Bolam) is in hospital.

He finds himself sharing a ward with Archie Glover (Peter Bowles) and Norman Binns (Christopher Strauli).

The three somehow managed to find plenty of ways of getting into trouble, in spite of being in hospital.

The other main characters are Dr Gordon Thorpe (Richard Wilson) and the ward orderly, Gupta (Derrick Branche).
