Hyacinth takes Daddy out for a picnic in the country. he takes the car and disappears.

The Father Christmas Suit

Hyacinth has decided that Richard should dress up as Father Christmas and distribute gifts to the old folk at the church hall.

Richard goes next door to show his costume to Elizabeth and Emmet. He ends up very drunk, so Elizabeth dresses up as Father Christmas instead.

Hyacinth has invited Richard's boss and his wife for drinks. She invites them along to the church to see Richard "distribute gifts to the poor".

When they reach the church, they find that Daddy has arrived uninvited and is making a nuisance of himself. Hyacinth wants to smuggle him out without Richard's boss seeing them, so she disguises herself as Father Christmas.
