Summary
Prison Officer Mills (Ken Jones) is a fairly easy-going man who believes in giving prisoners the beefit of the doubt whenever possible. He always tries to treat people with compassion.
Prison Officer Clissit (John Sharp) is the exact opposite. He fancies himself as a "hard" man and believes that inmates are in prison to be punished. He triesto give the prisoners as hard a time as possible.
The programme originally concentrated on the activities of the prison football team. Later, other aspects of prison life were dealt with.
