Summary
Tom Good (Richard Briers) decides to give up the rat race and become self sufficient. With the help and support of his wife Barbara (Felicity Kendal), he turns his Surbiton home into an urban farm.
This doesn't go down too well with their friends and neighbours, Jerry Leadbetter (Paul Eddington) and his wife Margot (Penelope Keith).
The programme was retitled "Good Neighbors" when shown in the USA, to avoid confusion with an earlier US television series.
