Summary

Fred Moffatt (Bill Maynard) is the proprietor and manager of a struggling small engineering firm.

He's frequently at odds with his workforce - in particular with the shop steward, Harry (Russell Hunter).

He relies on his secretary Betty (Pat Ashton) to run the office. She also does her best to keep her boss on the straight and narrow.
