Summary

Desmond Ambrose (Norman Beaton) owns a barber's shop in Peckham, London.

His shop is a gathering place for a motley crew of West Indian 'philosophers' like Porkpie (Ram John Holder).

Not a lot of haircutting goes on, but everyone gets together and has a good time putting the world to rights.

Desmond's wife Shirley (Carmen Munro) is usually on hand to rustle up something for the hungry 'punters' to eat.
