Summary
Emma (Lise-Ann McLaughlin) and Nigel Barrington (Timothy Bentinck) are a prosperous couple who live in a south London square.
They seem to have a stable, reasonably happy marriage until Sean (Brett Fancy) comes into their lives. He and Emma start up a business together, running a sandwich bar. Gradually, a relationship develops between them and her marriage to Nigel deteriorates.
Estate agent Nigel sets out to get revenge by sabotaging Emma and Sean's business plans.
In the second series, Sean tries his hand at being a rock singer. He also finds himself with a new landlord - Nigel.
