Summary
Clarence Sale (Ronnie Barker) is a very short-sighted removals man.
He meets Jane Travers (Josephine Tewson) and falls in love with her. He wants to marry her, but she isn't sure, so she suggests living together on a 'trial' basis, with no 'hanky panky'.
Written by Ronnie Barker, this sitcom was inspired by The Removals Person, shown in his 1971 LWT comedy series, Six Dates With Barker.
This was the last TV series Ronnie Barker made before retiring.
