Summary
Howard (Peter Bowles) is a sophisticated man about town. He's also an embezzler who has just completed a two-year prison sentence.
After he's released, he goes to live with his brother-in-law, Trevor (George Cole).
The time he's spent in prison has done nothing to reform Howard's criminal tendencies. He sets his sights on wealthy widow Laura (Isla Blair), who lives next door.
