Summary
Rose Garvey (June Whitfield) lives next door to her sister, Lana Butt (Pat Coombs).
Rose is married to Gerald (Peter Jones) and Lana is married to Harry (Reg Varney).
While the Garveys struggle to make ends meet, the Butts are always 'rolling in money'.
Peter Jones left the programme after the first series and was replaced by Desmond Walter-Ellis.
