Summary
Sally Harrison (Wendy Craig) is a widow trying to hold down a job and bring up two young sons, Simon (Robin Davis) and Peter (David Parfitt).
Auntie Flo (Valerie Lush) is usually on hand to provide help and hindrance in equal measures.
At the end of the final series, Sally marries widower David Redway (Richard Coleman). This leads on to a sequel, And Mother Makes Five.
