Summary

Terry Fletcher (Terry Scott) and his wife June (June Whitfield) are a typical middle-class couple living in a typical middle-class suburban house.

Their two daughters, Susan (Pippa Page) and Debbie (Caroline Whittaker) have grown up and left home.

The Fletchers are looking forward to enjoying their home free from care and responsibilities.

Then Aunt Lucy (Beryl Cooke) decides to move in with them.
