Will (Simon Bird), Simon (Joe Thomas), Jay ( James Buckley) and Neil ( Blake Harrison) are four teenage friends growing up in suburban Britain.
Will used to go to a posh public school but, after his parents divorced, he had to transfer to Rudge Park comprehensive school, where he became friends with Simon, Neil and Jay.
Simon is obsessed with Carli (Emily Head). He's more than willing to go along with anything she suggests, however dubious.
Jay fancies himself as a ladies' man, though most of the stories of his sexual exploits come only from his imagination.
Neil isn't the brightest of lads, but he's good natured and easy going.
