Miss Cissy has become involved with a soup kitchen for the poor. She ropes the rest of the household i nto helping. Teddy is still trying to avoid marriage to Madge Cartwright. Alf comes up with a scheme which involves introducing Madge to Teddy's illegitimate 'children'.

2: Requiem For A Parrot (27 Mar 93)

Lord Meldrum decides that Teddy will have to be sent off to the family's rubber plantation in Malaya. When Lady Lavender's parrot dies, she insists on a "proper funeral" for the bird.

3: Come To The Ball (3 Apr 93)

Lord Meldrum inspects the servants' quarters. Mabel finds a purse. The staff are invited to a ball where the local gentry have to wait on their servants.

4: The Truth Revealed (10 Apr 93)

Sir Ralph sacks Selfridge, his butler. Selfridge tells him about his wife's affair with Lord Meldrum. He sets out to seek revenge. Lord Meldrum's staff rally round to protect their master.

5: Fall Of The House Of Meldrum (17 Apr 93)

The fortunes of the Meldrum family take a sudden turn for the worse. There has been a stock market crash and a beetle is ravaging their plantation in Malaya. Financial ruin seems certain.

6: Well, There You Are Then! (24 Apr 93)

The Meldrum family have lost most of their money. The servants have to make plans for a future elsewhere.
