Summary

Caroline Todd (Tamsin Greig) is a new member of the medical staff of East Hampton Hospital.

She finds herself working with a very strange assortment of characters, including local heartthrob Dr Mac Macartney (Julian Rhind-Tutt), deluded anaesthetist Dr Guy Secretan (Stephen Mangan), gullible Dr Martin Dear (Karl Theobald), pedantic consultant Dr Alan Statham (Mark Heap), glamorous Dr Angela Hunter (Sarah Alexander), obsessive Staff Liaison Officer Sue White (Michelle Gomez) and sex-mad Human Resources Director Joanna Yardley Clore (Pippa Haywood).
