Summary
Tom (Ken Jone) is the head gardener of a large public park. He loves his job and is proud of his blooms, especially his marigolds.
Also working in the park are Max (David Thewlis), Bodie (Daniel Peacock) and Doyle (Bernard Padden).
Max rents a room in a house owned by mad landlady Mrs Giles (Liz Smith). He's in love with Claire (Katie Newell), who lives nearby with her strange mother Maggie (Penny Morrell).
The first series was widely criticised for being too "juvenile". The second series was shown in a time-slot normally reserved for children's programmes.
