Summary
Harvey Hall (Duggie Brown) is a second-rate stand-up comedian who dreams of "the big time".
His agent, Maurice Watkins (Victor Spinetti) is always promising Harvey that success is imminent, though he does little to ensure that it's actually achieved.
Harvey's wife, Josie (Elisabeth Sladen) is from an upper-crust background. She can't understand Harvey's enthusiasm for his job.
