Summary
It's 1941 and Private Potts (Frankie Howerd) is stationed in a secret underground bunker somewhere in London.
He spends his days acting as batman to a group of officers. His main aim in life is to avoid work and to stay in one piece.
BBC Television had originally planned to show this programme in 1982. Transmission was cancelled as a result of the Falklands War. The programme was not finally transmitted until it was shown by UK Gold in 1993.
