Summary
Thomas Maddison (Lionel Jeffries) has recently become a widower
After many years of living a relatively quiet (though henpecked) life in Cornwall, he sets off for the bright lights of London.
He goes to stay with his son Richard (Ian Ogilvey) and his daughter-in-law Harriet (Brigit Forsyth).
Before long, Tom is out and about living it up and enjoying himself, in spite of the disapproval of Dick and Harriet.
