Summary
Gerhard Schulz (Michael Elphick) is a petty crook doing time in Spandau Prison.
When the Second World War starts, he's suddenly released from jail.
He wants to find a nice, safe job to keep him busy (and alive) until the war is over. An unfortunate mixup, however, results in him being recruited into an SS intelligence unit.
He comes up with the idea of flooding England with forged banknotes.
