Summary
Rhona (Rhona Cameron) is a lesbian in her early thirties. She has recently split up with her girlfriend, so she now lives alone in a small flat in north London. She's something of a perfectionist, but she also tends to let her emotions rule her life. She works as a freelance video reviewer.
Rhona's friend Lisa (Mel Giedroyc) is a single, heterosexual woman in her thirties. She also lives alone. She used to have artistic ambitions, but she now works as a "temp" in a succession of dreary offices. Although she tends to be very enthusiastic and optimistic, she also finds it difficult to commit herself to anything or anybody.
Geoff (Dave Lamb) is a heterosexual, single man who lives in the same block of flats as Rhona. He, Rhona and Lisa have been close friends for many years. He works as a shift manager in a local arts cinema and coffee house.
