A building job at the British Embassy in a central African country is brought to a sudden end by a riot. The lads are airlifted to an Australian embassy in Laod, where they are given more work to do.

Barry has been reunited with his estranged wife Tatiana, who is heavily pregnant with his child. They set off on a romantic holiday, which is curtailed when Barry is kidnapped in Thailand.
