Summary

In the 1930's Captain Para Handy (Gregor Fisher) commands the "Vital Spark" as it cruises around the Scottish coast and inland waterways, carrying all manner uf unlikely cargo.

Other characters include McPhail (Rikki Fulton), Sunny Jim (Andrew Fairlie), Dougie (Sean Scanlon) and Andrew Campbell (Paul Young).
