Summary

Albert Arkwright (Ronnie Barker) wants to make plenty of money while spending as little of it as possible.

Arkwright runs a small "corner shop" with the help of his nephew, Granville (David Jason).

After ten years working for his uncle, Granville has risen to the rank of errand boy.

When he's not in his shop, Arkwright devotes most of his energy to the pursuit of Nurse Gladys Emmanuel (Lynda Baron).
