Each programme was a fast-paced mixture of sketches, standup segments and songs.
Julie Walters, Duncan Preston, Celia Imrie and Susie Blake appeared in various guises and there was an ongoing TV soap spoof, Acorn Antiques, complete with wobbly sets and deliberately wooden performances.
