Summary

Roy (Clive Swift ) and Tom (Roger Lloyd Pack) are a pair of elderly rascals who are determined not to let age get the better of them.

Roy is a pensioner who fancies himself as an intellectual.

Tom has never done much with his life but now intends to do something to rectify this.

When Roy's wife leaves him, he moves in with Tom.

Sally (Jane Asher) is one of their neighbours. She's not unaware of the fact that the two men both have an obsessive lust for her. She uses this to her advantage whenever she needs help around the house.

Amber (Katherine Parkinson) is Tom's daughter. She's constantly trying to teach him to be a good father, with limited success.
