Summary
Not only Peter Cook but also Dudley Moore, appearing in three series of some of the cleverest sketches ever to appear on British televisaion.
Particularly memorable were the "Dud and Pete" sequences (the "Dagenham Dialogues") in which "Pete" was a rather pompous bore pontificating about some topic or other while rather dim "Dud" listened intently and added barely comprehensible interjections.
Each programme ended with Pete and Dud at the piano singing "Goodbyee".
Most of the master tapes for this programme were wiped or destroyed early in the 1970s.
