Summary

Martin Grantham (Mark Warren) is a solicitor who's happily married to Jen (Keeley Hawes). They have a son, Dan (Joshua Sarphie) and a nice house. Life, it seems, couldn't be better.

Then, one day, Martin's best friend Carl throws himself under a train and, at the funeral, Jen tells Martin that she slept with his now-dead friend.

As life suddenly becomes more complicated, Martin's old friend Patrick (Alexander Armstrong) comes back into his life, determined to 'help' his friend through his difficulties.
