Hilary has left her job and moved away, so Vera is trying to find a new secretary for the office. Simone is helping out on a temporary basis, but she only manages to annoy Alec and Jamie. Zoe wants to go back to work, but Alec is opposed to the idea.

Zoe goes back to work, so the Callenders are looking for a nanny to look after baby Fleur. Adverts in the local newspaper don't produce results and a nanny agency is no help. Who can they get to look after Fleur?
