An MP is admitted to the ward. Figgis, Glover and Norman are put out when he refuses to sign a petition to save the hospital.

Adam's Rib

Figgis, Norman and Glover are worried when a young female doctor comes to work on the ward.

Episode 4 (23 SEP 81)
Postman's Knock

Figgis decides that Glover is unhappy because he doesn't have a woman. He decides to write to an agony aunt on Glover's behalf.

Accident

Norman is a witness to a traffic accident outside the hospital. He could send a man to prison if he agrees to give evidence.

Norman has started to keep a diary. Figgis and Glover are intrigued. They can't wait to get their hands on it.

These You Have Loved

Glover, Norman and Figgis don't think much of the hospital radio station, so they take action to 'improve' it.
