Summary
Following his poorly received ATV series, Hancock, Tony Hancock's personal and professional life continued its steady decline.
Four years passed before he made another television series. In this, his final British TV series,he played the manager of a London night club called Hancock's.
The programme was an odd mixture of sitcom and variety show which failed to catch on with viewers. ABC Television subsequently decided against making a second series.
In 1968, Tony Hancock went to Australia to make a 13-part programme called The Tony Hancock Show. Only three episodes were made.
Tony Hancock committed suicide on 25th June, 1968.
