Summary
Adrian Mole (Gian Sammarco) continues the journey through adolescence which began in The Secret Diary Of Adrian Mole.
His parents, George (Stephen Moore) and Pauline (Lulu) are now separated.
Pauline has become involved with Mr Lucas (Paul Greenwood), while George now has a relationship with Doreen Slater (Su Elliot).
Adrian still worries about his acne and is still obsessed with the lovely Pandora Braithwaite (Lindsey Stagg).
The programme was based on Sue Townsend's novel, The Growing Pains Of Adrian Mole.
Two further "Adrian Mole" novels have been written, The True Confessions Of Adrian Albert Mole and Adrian Mole : From Minor To Major. Neither of these has yet been adapted for television.
