Summary
Ronnie Kemp (Donald Churchill) used to be a stand-up comedian. Now he's the presenter of a TV quiz show, "Keeping Up With The Jones's".
Ronnie tries to give the impression that he's a cheerful, successful performer. In reality, he's a mean bad-tempered man and his private life is in rather a mess.
He's marries to Celia (Judy Loe), a woman half his age. He also has an ex-wife, Audrey (Rowena Cooper) who does her best to get her hands on as much of his income as possible.
