Summary

Selwyn Froggitt (Bill Maynard) lives in the Yorkshire town of Scarsdale with his mother (Megs Jenkins).

By day, he earns his living as a handyman, though his opinion of his own abilities tends to outstrip his competence most of the time.

In his spare time, he's the Secretary of the Scarsdale Working Men's Club.

At all times, he's a walking disaster area.
