Summary
Norman Straightman (Tony Aitken) and his wife Vera (Denise Coffey) are an ordinary couple whose lives are frequently disrupted by visits from famous people from the world of televison.
The "famous people" are played by Fred Harris, Sue Holderness, Dudley Stevens and David Simeon.
This was the first television programme scripted by Andrew Marshall and David Renwick, who went on to write (jointly and separately) programmes such as Whoops Apocalypse, Hot Metal, 2 point 4 Children, Health & Efficiency, Dad and One Foot In The Grave.
