Summary
Crystal Pallise (Irene Handl) makes a living by letting out rooms to lodgers. Meanwhile, her less than bright son Leonard (Bernard Bresslaw) is trying to establish himself as an actor.
One day, Crystal's other son, Robin Fosdike (Pete Murray) arrives unexpectedly and becomes something of a "cuckoo in the nest".
