Summary
Gary (Ardal O'Hanlon) and Sue (Mel Giedroyc) are a young couple struggling to bring up two young children.
Gary and Sue's disorganised approach to parenting contrasts sharply with that of their "perfect parent" neighbours, Bill (Robert Webb) and Mary (Sally Bretton).
Gary runs a small recording studio, producing advertising jingles, background music and demo recordings. He works with singer Vicky (Hannah-Jane Fox), guitarist Ronnie (Michael McKell) and drummer Styx (Rowland Rivron).
Ronnie fancies Vicky but she is already living with her dreadful boyfriend, Lance (Ray Penthaki).
